Tom Zeran



Tom Zeran is a proven energetic, results-oriented executive leader with over 25 years of experience in product development, product management, program management, product planning, product marketing, business development, and strategic planning including over 16 years in wireless handsets, data modules, fixed wireless, and accessories. Most recently, Tom co-founded Peek (www.getpeek.com), a start-up provider of simple affordable mobile email and messaging, were he led the definition, development, manufacture, and support of the award-winning Peek mobile device. From 2000-2006, Tom led the Product Management and Program Management groups at Kyocera Wireless Corp. (formed by the acquisition of Qualcomm’s wireless handset business in 2000) where he helped grow Kyocera’s business to more than 10 million units and over $1B annually. He played a large role transitioning Kyocera’s internal development and manufacturing strategy to a mixture of ODM, ODE, and joint development with Kyocera’s offshore partners. Prior to the acquisition by Kyocera, Tom led program management of numerous handsets, fixed wireless terminals, embedded data modules, and satellite communication systems products at Qualcomm.



Subhash Roy



Subhash Roy has over 17 years of experience in the semiconductor space, in design, development and executive management covering applications spaces including telecommunications, supercomputing, medical, and automotive. In May 1999, he co-founded Onex Communications, a fabless semiconductor supplier in the Wide-area Telecommunications space, serving as it’s Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and Vice-President of Engineering. Onex was acquired in September 2001 by TranSwitch Corporation (NASDAQ: TXCC). Subhash served as TranSwitch’s CTO for Metro, and Core products until February 2003. Subhash, then joined Kodiak Venture Partners, initially as an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR), and then as a Principal until June 2005. He was involved in Kodiak's practice in semiconductors and OEM's (Communications and Semiconductor Capital Equipment), and was heavily involved with the following portfolio companies: Cortina Systems, Simpler Networks, ALIS Technology Corporation, Tropic Networks, BTI Photonics, and Vette. Currently, Subhash is CTO-Transport for Applied Micro Circuits Corporation (NASDAQ: AMCC). The Transport segment covers - PHYs, Framers, FEC, PON, and Ethernet for Telecommunications and Data- communications. Subhash has been awarded 13 patents (7 pending) in telecommunications, data communications and microprocessor areas and holds B.S. and M.S. Degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
