Intelligent Power Management

Toucan family features intelligent power management and also support internal and external Li-Ion/Polymer packs that extends battery life up to 5 years using Hibernate mode. This long battery life makes it possible to track remote assets for a long time with minimal maintenance cost.

Intelligent Interfaces

Toucan family features multiple I/O options including up to 10 digital I/Os and 1 analog input to enable external event monitoring and control. Optional Motion /Temperature/Fluid sensors make Toucan a logical choice for your customized M2M tracking or Telemetry application. Zigbee support is also available for AMR/AMI applications.

To reduce maintenance and total cost of ownership, Toucan family features over the air configuration of all parameters, modem firmware update and diagnostics.
