Siva Sivakumar

Co-founder, CEO and CTO

Siva has over 17 years of experience in the Wireless/Satcom industry. He brings extensive business and engineering leadership experience in design, development, test and high volume manufacturing as it applies to wireless, mobile, portable and satcom products. Some of the world's leading mobile phones spanning multiple generations of CDMA technology were delivered under his leadership.Before co-founding Nimble Wireless, Siva was Director of Engineering at Kyocera Wireless Corporation (KWC), San Diego. As head of the HW engineering department at Kyocera, Siva oversaw the electrical, mechanical, CAD and regulatory development for KWC's CDMA products. Siva was responsible for leading the global HW engineering development teams that includes Kyocera's San Diego and India divisions as well as its Outside Design Partners (OD/ODM/EMS) in China, Taiwan and Korea. Early in his career as design engineer at Qualcomm, Siva was part of the very early generation CDMA phone design team. Siva holds a MSEE degree from University of California, San Diego, USA with specialization in Communication Theory & Systems and BSEE from Coimbatore Inst. of Technology, India.

Naveen Sabapathy

Co-founder and President

Naveen Sabapathy has over 15 years of experience, entirely from silicon valley, in business management and engineering in a wide range of technology industries ranging from semiconductor, networking industry, servers and EDA. Before co-founding Nimble Wireless, Naveen led the product management and marketing group in AMCC, a leading silicon provider in telecom market. In this position, he oversaw the introduction of many products for telecom and datacomm markets including mobile wireless and WiFi. He was instrumental in designing AMCC's products in major telecom platforms of Cisco, Alcatel, and Nortel etc. Naveen also played a key role in strategic direction for future products of AMCC. Prior to AMCC, Naveen held management roles in Synopsys, Silicon Graphics and served as design engineer in Videonics. Naveen holds an MBA from UC Berkeley, MSEE from Arizona State University and BSEE from Coimbatore Institute of Technology, India.

Senthil Nathan

Managing Director, India

Senthil brings over 17 years of experience in software architecture and development in various embedded market segments including Networking, PCs and servers.Before joining Nimble Wireless, he served as engineering manager at Intel. Under his leadership for about seven years, Intel delivered numerous embedded applications software for networking markets, including mobile wireless. He has extensive experience in real time operating systems, multiprocessor architectures, drivers, network protocol analysis and end to end software life cycle management. He has managed global teams spread across US, India, Russia and China and has delivered major carrier grade applications for global vendors. Prior to Intel, he worked for AMI in embedded applications. He holds a BSEE from Bharathiar University, India.
